Geo Says:23rd Oct 2008 07:12:03 AM The entire globe is worried about a depression staring at it... while such events have happened on a regional level before, but never before at such a scale and throughout the globe... day after day the panic in the voices of leaders is evident as they all eually call for a global concerted effort....The fear is that solution may not be coming easy and quick and other factors could make matters worse.... the UN too has called for a global effort and a global leadership... citing fears of more trouble in form of climatic, food, energy and terrorism crisis along with the financial crisis.... are these the times that the Bible foretold about.... the so called "End Times" or the "Last Days" which even Nostradamus makes mention of.... if you look closely at the news.... the dire situation is but obvious.... |

Geo Says:24th Oct 2008 05:15:05 AM It has been a royal carnage across bourses in Asia and Europe... Now it remains to be seen what this "bloody" Friday has in store for the Dow Jones.... Meanwhile the European Union and Asian Countries are meeting in Shanghai... EU President says..."Its simple, either we swim together or we sink together"..... Bush has called for a meeting of the G-20 in early November...to discuss what can be done... While statements after statements seem to take sentiments further down the whirlpool... what or who will come to the rescue is what we got to watch!!! |

Geo Says:24th Oct 2008 10:12:43 PM While Government after government is taking out billions of dollars from its coffers to bail out the banks, it actually primarily bailing out the rich and the 'not so poor'. The amount of money that each government across the world is pouring out is so staggering that I am afraid, there will be nothing left to give out to the poorest in the world (who are the majority)!! They are the ones who are going to be hit the hardest. The governments had no money in the first place when they were approached for funds for the hungry in the world and other aid programs and then suddenly they had billions to fill up the craters created by the 'fat pay packet' professionals and technocrats, most of whom just fed themselves all the time!! With MNC after MNC declaring lay-offs and job cuts and pay cuts, the proportion of people who will filter down into the category called 'poor' will also increase..!! |

Saiju Soman Says:25th Oct 2008 03:39:36 AM Thats quite interesting. Coze the Government don't have money to feed the poor but they have billions of dollors to pay the bills. I think that its the curse of the poor people that has brought this disaster on the rich ones. No one in this world is paid properly according to their work. When some are under paid on one side, there are others who are over paid on the other side. If CORRUPTION was discouraged from the first day itself, then we would'nt have seen such a day in our lives. Its high time now that we all stand up for what is right and remove CORRUPTION from its very root. Remember, "Together, We Can, and We Will Make a Difference". |
